For the fourth time in the past five years, the 1st XI took out the prestigious National 1st XI Cup (formerly Gillette Cup) held at Lincoln last December.

Students have performed extremely well in the recent 2016 NCEA examinations. Overall results have improved from previous years and achievement across all three levels exceeds National averages. 

Community members are strongly encouraged to attend this presentation from Roger Dennis at School on the 23rd of February at 6:00pm.

CBHS aims to provide a sporting environment which caters for the diverse and changing school community through the provision of a variety of sporting activities for all students who participate in sport, regardless of ability.

The Year Nine Parent Evening is a social and informal opportunity for parents to meet with their son's Form Teacher and other key staff at the School. 

Year 10 Camp provides some great challenges and opportunities for your students. For many students it is a highlight of their time at CBHS.

In 2017 all Year 10 students have the opportunity to submit a personal reading portfolio to attain four English credits for Level 1 NCEA. 

Ever looked at an Iron Man Triathlon event and thought "no way could I do that those guys are crazy!" Well the staff at CBHS thought the opposite and went "yes I'm definitely up for that".

More than one in three young people have experienced some form of harmful on line communication. The conversation about internet safety is an important one to have!

This photo from the 75th anniversary celebrations 1956 shows a match played between the High School Old Boys Senior Team and Merivale. In the background on the right is the newly constructed Caddick Block. The Caddick Block has been demolished over the recent summer holiday to make way for a brand new teaching block.

There are two versions of the Treaty of Waitangi (an English version and a Maori translation). They say very different things. 

At CBHS we have a limited number of lockers that are available for students to hire. All Year 9 students are issued with a locker in which to keep books and belongings.
