As we reach the end of the first school term, there is a feeling of final madness around the school, as our teachers and students make a last dash to finish off those projects and assessments before our community go on a break for two weeks.

In wet and cold conditions, the Kaiapoi High School Term 1 CACTUS crew faced their final challenges on their Longest Day Test!

Te Rakiwhakaputa performed a 15 minute bracket at The Choral Extravaganza, held at the Rangiora Town Hall last week.

The PTA is all about fostering the link between the school and its community. It is an enthusiastic and caring space where parents and whanau can engage with the school in a meaningful way.

Every cloud has a silver lining, but this year the 10OdEders smashed through the silver lining and into glorious, golden sunshine to enjoy spectacular cloud top views back across the plains to Kaiapoi and out west to the Alps.

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!!         2017 sees 22 international students from Japan, Chile and Germany studying at the school for various terms. Three students return from last year and groups will again visit throughout the year.

It is great to see our Years 9 and 10 students using their laptops consistently in classes and being able to complete learning collaboratively and at home online.
