On Wednesday August 14 the Science Roadshow took over the hall and transformed it into a scientific wonder.

On August 1 we took our robots to TECT Arena and competed in the first of four local scrimmages.

To be in the top twelve teams of 200 teams is an amazing achievement and resulted in our sending a team to the regional finals at the beginning of Term 3.

This is an event organised for the benefit of local students aged 16+ who are looking for jobs, part-time work, holiday work, work experience, cadetships, apprenticeships, and for local employers who want workers.

In early August 21 Outdoor Ed students went down to Mount Ruapehu for two days of skiing and snowboarding at the Turoa Skifield.

At the end of last term this team played Te Puke in the final for the first round of their competition. This was a very fast, skillful and exciting game.
