Resilience - this term's theme for the Junior Secondary

    by KingsWay School

Our theme this term in the Junior Secondary has been resilience. We have used the model of Te Whare Tapa Whā to consider resilience in our physical, emotional, social and spiritual lives. We met Logan, a former KingsWay student who lost his leg in an accident. He told us of his story and the resilience needed for him to travel his path. He encouraged us that though we may stumble, we will not fall as we are held in God’s hand.

We also had our GRIT days. The students were pushed and challenged in a variety of ways through physical challenges at Wenderholm Regional Park. We are proud of all of them for their attitudes and effort. It was a great time and awesome to see students thrive.
