Year 3/4 Sports Spectacular

This was a great chance for our tamariki to try sports they might not have tried before.
by Ali Duncan

The Year 3's and 4's participated in a series of sports events at Springston Domain. They learnt skills in hockey, soccer, rugby and ball skills. The children showed excellent sportsmanship and a great attitude to 'having a go', trying new activities and developing their fitness. It was fantastic to see all the children working together, taking part and having a positive approach!

Our Year 3/4's are Ready, Willing, Able to Learn Together.

Uniform

by Dot Agnew

.We are proud of the identity our uniform gives us and children wear  full uniform every day.  You can buy Ladbrooks School royal blue polo shirts, fleeces, sweatshirts and wide-brimmed hats, navy tracksuit pants and shorts at the Hornby Warehouse.

You can order Merino wool jerseys on Kindo and PALS sells second-hand uniform items as well through that portal. Second hand uniform items are stored at school.

It is essential that each item of school wear is CLEARLY NAMED.

Our uniform

  • Royal blue polo shirt with School Logo
  • Royal blue sweatshirt and/or polar fleece embroidered with Ladbrooks School logo, Merino or School jacket

Please make sure that any shorts and pants worn are navy blue and do not have any obvious logo’s on them.

Children can wear blue thermal tops and navy tights in winter.

Hats: A royal blue wide-brimmed or bucket hat is required in Term 1 and Term 4.

Lost Property: We encourage children to be responsible for their gear and anything that is found will be put in the Lost Property Chair at the front of the school.

Swimming: Children can wear any colour togs but must wear a rash vest.

Jewellery, makeup, nail polish, coloured tights and 'other' tops are not part of our school uniform and should not be worn at school. Pounamu and other significantly important jewellery should be tucked under shirts to avoid injury during sport and play.
