To celebrate the Rio 2016 Olympic games and the learning students have been doing around this, we will hold our own version of the Olympics at Oaklands.

Visit this articleIn Term 2 15 students sat the ICAS Science exam and the results have been received. Students who sat the exam at Oaklands were ranked against students from around NZ and the Pacific region.
Visit this articleIn the last week of Term 2 a small group of Year 4 - 6 boys had the opportunity to work with Greg O'Connell, a published poet and tutor from the Christchurch School of Writing. They spent 2 days developing their skills as writers.
Visit this articleWe would like to invite all parents/ caregivers to our Oaklands School Quiz Night. Tickets are now on sale from the Oaklands School office. Tickets are $10 per person and teams of 6 are needed. BYO beer and wine. Fantastic raffles available at the door, food and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold on the night. Doors open at 6:30pm and the Quiz starts at 7pm. We would love to see you there. All proceeds go towards the Year 8 trip to Wellington.
