Ballot dates 2025/2026 for Out of Zone Applications
OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENTS
Each term the Board will determine and we will advertise the number of places which are likely to be available for those who live outside the school zone on our website.
If you live outside our school zone, email us at enrolments@belfast.school.nz for the Out of Zone Enrolment Form that you have to complete and return to the school office before the closing date for the ballot you wish your child to be entered into(see dates below).
Term 1 2025 - Applications close Wednesday 18th September 2024 with the Ballot being drawn Friday 20th September if required
Term 2 2025 - Applications close on Wednesday 12 March 2025 with the ballot happening on Friday, 14th March 2025 if required.
Term 3 2025 - Applications close on Wednesday 28 May 2025 with the ballot happening on Friday 30 May 2025 if required.
Term 4 2025 - Applications close on Wednesday 20 August with the ballot happening on Friday 22 August 2025 if required.
Term 1 2026 - Applications close on Wednesday 15 October 2025 with the ballot happening on Friday 17 October 2025.
You will be notified in writing, within ten working days of the ballot date, whether your child has been offered a place.
Applications for enrolments will be processed in the following order of priority:
first priority is not applicable at this school because the school does not run a special programme approved by the Secretary for Education.
second priority must be given to any applicant who is the sibling of a current student of the school.
third priority must be given to any student who is the sibling of a former student of the school.
fourth priority must be given to any applicant who is the child of a former student of the school.
fifth priority must be given to any applicant who is a child of an employee of the schoolâs board or a child of a member of the schoolâs board.
sixth priority must be given to all other applicants.
