Community Picnic - TODAY

by Simon Moriarty

On, Tuesday 21st February from 6 pm-7.30 pm (tonight), we will hold our Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School Community Picnic. We would like to hold this event in the Rata Playground area. This way we can provide shaded options under trees or along the decking. This will be an awesome event to reconnect or meet with staff and other members of the school community after the summer break. Pre-COVID we had a large turnout of families and we really hope that we can get even more this year!!! It would be great to see you all there. Our wonderful PTA is provide ice blocks for all our tamariki.

Complaints Procedures

by Simon Moriarty

The BOT would like to highlight the procedures to follow if you have an issue or complaint you would like to discuss. We are all working towards the same goal of ensuring that all our students are safe, happy and learning at Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School. These procedures ensure that we can work through any issues in a respectful way rather than talking about it in the community or on social media.....which does not solve the issue.

Reminder - Student Cell Phone at School Procedure

by Simon Moriarty

We continue to have a higher percentage of students who are bringing cell phones to school. We understand that cell phones are an important tool students use to communicate with parents/caregivers before and after school. As we know Cell Phones can also be a Health & Safety Risk if used inappropriately, especially with growing national reports of online bullying.
