The Yr 10 Materials Technology classes created some outstanding shorts!

We have had a number of career events this term including the Year 13 trip to the Otago Tertiary Open Day, the Pathways Assembly, the Year 11 Pathways Expo & the Year 9 “Become” Careers Programme.

26 of our Year 12/13 Gateway students have started their work experience placements this term.

Our Year 11 students recently spent an afternoon at the annual South Canterbury Year 11 Pathways Expo.

Another successful junior development tournament was run by Roncalli College.

Winter Sport is well underway with plenty happening on the courts and fields around the South Canterbury and Aoraki Region where our girl’s have been competing.

Year 13 History recently had a wonderful experience exploring the history of Akaroa.

On Tuesday the 23rd of May our Year 9 and 10 classes were treated to a visit by the Life Education Trust team to present sessions on life skills through live performance and workshops.

This week saw three of our students take part in the Special Olympics football at the Stadium.

Last week some of our Senior A & B Netball girls were invited to a training session with members of the Canterbury Tactix Netball team.

The Rockquest Band and Senior Music Students attended a New Zealand Music Commission Workshop on Tuesday 2nd May and were engaged in the advice given by the two tutors (Jed and Hera) on Songwriting.

Casey has been selected to represent NZ in Brazil in August 2023.
