An update from the Acting Principal / Senior Academic and Pastoral Leader on Senior students.

Term 2 is well underway and that marks the start of a new season for extra-curricular activities.

We welcomed our students from Avignon (France) who were introduced to Westland High School with a mihi whakatau and afterwards enjoyed kai and games with our J Te Reo class.

We are very excited to be planning this year's visit from our friends in Edogawa City, Tokyo.

A group of Westland High School staff and students travelled to Christchurch to tautoko (support) Mr Murray at his new school.

We are thrilled to be hosting 10 international students here at Westland High School this term.

Monday 15th may we held the annual school cross country. This year it was a whole school cross country.

recently we had a number of Health professionals come and visit the school and showcase the many different career options within Health.

We have two whanau conference events this term, for students and whanau to chat with staff and see how their young person is doing at school.

Our Kahui Ako are seeking feedback from whanau and invite you to attend any of the consultation days on offer.

Keeping your young people safe online

Come along ever Wednesday at lunch time (if it's fine) and roller skate.

Every Monday at lunch time the PE department run fitness club. Come and increase your fitness, burn off some energy, and have fun.

Do you like science, or maybe just need a little extra support with your science work/assessments, then read on.

Do you need a bit of extra support with your Math work? If you do, or you just enjoy Math then Math club is exactly what you're looking for.

Breakfast club is back up and running again. Students can come for breakfast in the hall between 8.15am and 8.45am.

If you are running a little late, or are just looking for an easier option for lunches then EzLunch may be just what you need.

Did you know you can view your child's attendance, academic transcript, timetable, notices, etc.... through the parent portal?

Westland High School follows a review schedule to maintain, update and review all policies.
