Our Year 1 class ended their first year at school with a fantastic day out at Finistere Function Centre!

Columba College water polo is on the rise, and the school has had three competitive teams entered in the schools' weekly competition at Moana Pool this season. With numbers and popularity growing, this fabulous sport is sure to grow even more at Columba over the coming years.

Students in Year 8 and 9 French classes finished the year by practising their French in a very meaningful way - by ordering what they wanted from Mademoiselle's makeshift patisserie café.

For the last three terms, Braemar Tahi have spent two of the four form times each week working on a bag craft activity.

Futsal is a popular sport at Columba, especially within the Junior School, and 2022 saw another positive and fun season of competition for all our futsal teams.

Whanau Groups have completed a range of activities throughout the year.

Columba College staff and students took part in the 150th Anniversary of Polish settlement in Otago-Southland over 25-27 November in Dunedin.

Mid-Monday in the last week of school, Year 13 leavers Riley Piebenga, Mia Stout, Rosie Davison, Brooke Kendall, and Helen Li made their way back to the Columba College campus. Armed with tools, fixings and a full piece of pressure-treated plywood, they had one mission: to install a blackboard on the outside of the school gym.

Every year, the Columba College Sports Department is indebted to our community for the support offered in the way of coaching, managing and assisting with our many and varied sports teams. Thank you for a wonderful year of positive connection - time now to plan for 2023!
