This year we have once again have one of our students, Zoe McElrea (Year 13), competing with her brother Millar McElrea (JMC) in the Junior Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final, which is being held in Timaru.

This year I was fortunate enough to have been selected, along with 3 other Columba students, to attend the University of Otago Young Women in Leadership programme.

The Otago Short Course Championships were held over the weekend. Columba College was well represented and our students performed exceptionally well.

This year’s annual pinnacle event is hosted at Mercury Baypark Stadium in Tauranga, July 5th-8th.

Year 9-Year 13 Chinese students have learned “Regular and Running Scripts” Soft-Pen Calligraphy in class.

The Year 7 Drama Unit performed to Years 0-2 students in the Caroline Freeman Theatre on Wednesday.
