Auditions (for students in Years 7-13) are this Sunday, 26th March - 9:00am - 12:30pm (everyone). Those wishing to audition for lead roles will stay on from 1:30pm - 4:00pm-ish.

Our three new international students have been settling into life in New Zealand. Here is an update of how they have adapted to life here.

The Senior team (predominantly Years 9 & 10) has had an outstanding season and is currently unbeaten in the Dunedin competition having won five games, scored 35 goals with eight against, and will play in the final next week against OBHS B!

With Easter just around the corner, Columba’s annual Easter Outreach collection begins next Monday, 27th March and runs for the week.

Basketball Otago is again offering some exciting training camp opportunities over the Easter Holiday break for students across Years 1 - 8.

Year 12PE students imparted their expertise to our Year 4, 5 and 6 students with great success!

Miss Li is running the Gate Chinese Club this year. They have been learning some Chinese history, as well as getting creative by doing some paper cutting and making Chinese Peking opera masks. Students designed their own beautiful, unique Peking opera masks.

Another successful day of leadership training for students interested in physical activity and sport was delivered by Sport Otago at the Edgar Centre on Tuesday this week. Columba College had 18 students across Year 6 and 8 who attended the training day and learnt many new skills in sport leadership.

Year 0-1 students have been learning how the Chinese celebrate the Chinese New Year and all about Chinese zodiac animals.

The Otago Junior LC Championships and the Otago Senior LC Carnival were held in Dunedin this past weekend.
