From the beginning of Term 3 after school care for Year 7 and 8 students will not be held at GEIS
GEIS had a lot of first timers to the sport mixed in with some experienced club players and the noise in the club house was a reflection of how much fun we had today!
Last year at GEIS we were very lucky to have our astroturf covered with a canopy to keep students safe from extreme weather.

Our Kapa Haka group connected with Kaurilands Primary School Kapa Haka group to open our teacher only day this term at Kaurilands school.
This term we have run after school classes which include two different art classes, swimming club, badminton, fencing, drama class and cheerleading.

Another busy term in the Spec Department, particularly in Enviro Tech where a group of students spent all term creating outfits for Wearable Arts.
Titirangi township’s warmth was palpable! The sun shone, people smiled and cockerels crowed.
Mr Boyd has overseen the installation of the new laser cutter in the Hard Materials workshop
Their generous donation of fresh fruit throughout this term has been a bright spot in our lunch club programme.
A 6 week journey for our Gladiators team ending with an awesome experience at the Totara Springs Sports Camp in Matamata.
At the end of term one, Karekare students went on a trip to Ceramco Park to raise money for charities SPCA, Buttabean, Bird Rescue and Vision West.
