Newsletter Week 6 Term 2

Winter has certainly arrived! Please be careful when dropping off and picking up children. Traffic volumes increase dramatically during winter and we all need to be considerate of others when using the drop off/pick-up zones.

Please note that this term we will be having a school wide learning celebration on the last Wednesday of the term (4th July) from 2-3:30. Please come a long and check the fabulous learning that has been happening across our school.

There is a NZEI union meeting happening on Tuesday 26th June (week 9).  We will be having an early close (12:30) that day as all of our teaching staff will be attending this meeting at Horncastle Arena. For those who are unable to arrange care for their children we will have a skeleton staff on. I will send out a form early next week to be filled in for children who will be staying at school.

A great effort, with our Year 6 team winning their heat which books them a slot in the finals. Our yr 7/8 team also did extremely well in their competition which was one of the highest scoring of any heat in the competition.
