We have a vision for a new proposed Sport and Recreation Hub at Hillmorton High School which will be a place where the school and community can be Active and Healthy Together.

Hillmorton High School will be closed for mid-term break. We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday 1 September. Have a great long weekend.

Following five weeks of honing their mountain bike skills, fitness and bike maintenance skills in Outdoor Education, a small group of Level 1 and 2 students took the opportunity to extend their skills and complete their first cycle tour to the Wharfedale Hut in Oxford.

On Saturday 22 August, thirty-five committed and talented Hillmorton High School students spent the day filming an amazing dance/drama performance for the 2020 Showquest Competition

With senior students having practice exams at school it was time for our non-NCEA international students to head to Tekapo.

Year 8 student, Alyssa Buchan will soon be on her way to Wellington to compete as part of the Te Rōpū Oma o Waitaha (the runners from Canterbury) team at the IRXC2020 (Inter-Regional Cross Country)

Ara opens its doors to international students from across Canterbury.

On the 24 August, class 10H went into the Christchurch City Centre to visit the Christchurch City Council (CCC).

Students have been catering for functions this term.

The Hillmorton First XI Hockey are well into the season now with 7 games under their belt.

Mt Hutt gave us five hours of sun and skiing before a complete whiteout.

Year 12 Girls' Self Defence course has been running over the last 2 weeks.
