The last day of Term 2 is Friday, July 9. Term 3 starts on Monday, July 26. There will be a teacher only day on Wednesday, August 11.

On June 9 students competed in the school competition ShowQuest NZ which is Aoteroa’s biggest performing arts competition, showcasing Art, Music, Dance, Culture and Technology for Years 1-13.

In Term 3 we have the Science Roadshow coming to Katikati College.

As the term nears the end , Yr 9 Outdoor Education was fortunate to have St John come in and run a CPR Course as part of their Outdoor First Aid Unit.

Adolescence is a time of growth and development and can be challenging for some. Our School nurse Cheryl will be conducting health checks on students over the school year, using the Ministry of Health’s “ HEEADSSS” assessment tool.

Unfortunately with the significant rise in food costs, there willl be increases in canteen prices from the beginning of Term 3.

The top regional level of cross country was held at Kihikihi Domain on Wednesday 9th June and we were well represented with 10 runners.

Each year Katikati College competes in the EPro8 engineering competition. This year three teams were entered in the Year 7 and 8 heats.

Australian Maths and ICAS Maths are not far away.
