CAREERS DEPARTMENT NEWS

The Careers Department is located right next to the School Library and open from 10am – 3pm for students to pop in for Careers Appointments, Part-time Job Opportunities and Gateway Placements. Students are encouraged to view and take away the vast array of Tertiary promotional material available for their research into careers and training. The Careers Advisor is available for students to make an appointment to discuss their personal career pathway options and opportunities. The Gateway Co-ordinator can organise after school Industry placements for students to gain work experience.

Te Whare Whawhao - Rautawhiri Hostel

Friday September 2nd saw the first group of students and parents visit school and the Hostel. These students will be part of our inaugural intake for 2023. The day saw the girls become familiar with each other and each other’s parents. They also had a chance to check out the Hostel and see what their living accommodations would be like, as well see a couple of classes.
