On June 14th get ready for an international comedy tour de force as NZ's Nick Rado is joined by Australia's Andrew Barnett and Ireland's Alan McElroy.

Our Te Rangatahi Kapa Haka rōpu had our Noho Mārae in Week 1 of Term 2. It was the first day back and our ākonga were fizzing to stay over in the Hall.

Like other teams across the school, Whai Wāhi have been exploring Aotearoa Histories for our pākiki (inquiry) this term.

For writing over the past few weeks, we have been working in groups on an A-Z encyclopaedia about all things relevant to Aotearoa.

Acknowledging and celebrating our school's diversity

Thank you to everyone who participated in this important school fundraiser. It has certainly been a lot of work for many.

The purpose of being a Kāhui Ako is so that we can work together for the benefit of our students, our communities, our teachers, for the wider education community and the wider community, in general. We believe that working together as a Kāhui Ako will open up worlds of opportunities; in particular, it will enable expertise to be shared, learnings to be shared, resources, professional development opportunities and partner in providing effective transition through a students entire schooling.

On Monday 8 May our glorious trip to the top of Mount Kau Kau began in earnest.

While a Year 8 student at Rāroa in 2022, Amber Chan applied to become an illustrator for the Toitoi magazine.
