SUCCESS

Recently Tahuna students have been to the fore in a number of differing areas - winning the Classics Trophy; Miniball and Netball teams winning their grades and the Rugby teams winning the Sassenach trophy. Success in the Otago epro8 challenge engineering competition and success at the Peninsula Art Exhibition were other areas of achievement by Tahuna students.

Gymnastics Success

Over the past few months we have been competing in gymnastics competitions in order to reach our goal of the New Zealand Gymnastics Championships in October. A few weeks ago we competed in the South Island Champs in Christchurch in order to gain qualifying scores to get into Nationals. Both of us compete in Individual Rhythmic and group Rhythmic routines.

Fun in the Music Room!

Mr Lousley and Mr Page took the group through a session on the Djembe Drums followed by a session with Mrs Rouvi and the Kapa Haka girls.
