Kia ora e te whanau. Like many of you, I’ve been thinking that 2020 has been a pretty rotten year – unprecedented times, some say, as we get used to our new COVID-normal.

The staff and students of UHC were devastated to learn of the death of a much-loved former teacher – Rachel Pawsey – who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Upper Hutt on Thursday 27 August.
