WC Houses
Our first House event of 2024 was a frisbee throwing competition last Tuesday earning house points for distance and accuracy. Next week is the first House sports competition - the House Touch. Thanks to our Sports Prefects for organising this.
A new initiative this year is the introduction of House Rep positions across the year groups. Students were asked to apply for a House Rep position for the Arts, Sport, Culture and Community portfolios as well as the School Council. Over 160 students applied and have been allocated to different positions. The idea is that each House will now have small committees for the 4 portfolios and will work together to encourage participation, manage events and build House spirit.
