Birthdays and Graduations are a very exciting time for teachers and children at The Cathedral Grammar Pre-School. It is important for children to celebrate these special occasions with their peers and family, and to acknowledge and appreciate this day with them. We can probably all remember the excitement of a birthday cake, and waiting with anticipation to eat this tasty treat.

The theme for this year is 'Kia Kaha te Reo Māori’ ‘Let’s make the Māori language strong'. “Strength for an endangered language comes from its status, people being aware of how to support revitalisation, people acquiring and using it and from the language having the right words and terms to be used well for any purpose."

Last Tuesday and Wednesday, we were all treated to yet another example of the incredible talent we have in the Junior School.

Wow! I can’t believe that our Operetta Season is over for another two years. What a wonderful experience for me to have the pleasure of producing Madagascar Jr with your children, and my sincere thanks to every child and every parent who supported CGS on this journey.
