The heart of CBHS curriculum lies at the intersection of our academic, sporting and cultural programmes that promote the personal, moral and intellectual growth of every boy.

At CBHS, we want to prepare our students for the world in which they will live, learn and work in.

At Christchurch Boys’ High School, pastoral care sits at the heart of the school. We place a strong emphasis on knowing each boy well, building positive relationships, and responding early when support is needed.

As part of being a fine young man we expect the boys to make a determined and genuine effort towards their studies, regardless of their ability.

Sports exists at CBHS for a deeper purpose.

We appreciate the support of our school families in paying the School donation.

The school actively promotes the participation of boys in cultural activities and expects a high level of involvement and performance.

Adams House is the Boarding facility for CBHS. The hostel is situated just five minutes walk from the School. The grounds are extensive and include modern amenities for our boarders.
