Success at Orienteering!
GEIS had 4 teams compete at the Waitākere Zone Tag where all teams competed hard with high levels of skill, perseverance and a great attitude!
At the Dilworth sports exchange this term GEIS matched up against schools from across Tamaki Makaurau in a variety of different sports.

Next term we have an exciting learning opportunity in the science lab. Students will be participating in tissue dissections as part of our unit on the human body.
Last year we had a canopy installed over our astroturf which has enabled it to be used in all weather conditions.

As part of our EOTC programme, the Tongariro Tramp group left on Monday 18 March to tramp the Tongariro crossing.
Our year 8A softball team, coached by GEIS Groundsman Mr Wayne Hale, picked up the win which sees them off to the Auckland champs next week.
