On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I wish to thank our students and staff for an amazing year.

As we finish a year of sports at KHS, we congratulate all of our students that have contributed to the success of our sporting opportunities at school.

In 2022 KHS students submitted artworks for selection to a student exhibition fostering Peace called "White Clouds in Common and Blue Skies Shared".

This term has been busy saying goodbye to the seniors who are leaving us - especially the Year 13 students.

We have had many students achieving sporting success outside of school this term, including three students that put on a NZ top and represented our country for their age group during the October school holidays.

Kia Ora, We are The Scent. As you have probably read in different articles and newspapers, we sell eco-friendly and sustainable air fresheners.

On Thursday 17th November a group of 24 Māori tau tekau ākonga went to the University of Canterbury for the Aukaha event.

It was great to be able to celebrate our year of sport at our annual Sports Awards Ceremony held on Thursday 27 October.

The Māori & Pasifika Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday 1st November.

This year Level 1 Metal Technology students made a scooter and Level 2 students made a longboard, with some great results.

Talented Visual Art students are recognised by our local community.
