Otara Mission Trip

On Friday 24th June, 16 students went on an overnight mission trip to Otara. KingsWay School has a longstanding partnership with the Samoan AOG Church in Otara. The students spent time with the youth on Friday night and also helped prepare for the community outreach the following day. They were up early in the morning helping and involved in activities like face painting and handing out food parcels and sports equipment to the community throughout the day. All the students put in their best efforts and returned home rewarded with the knowledge that they had helped make a difference in the Otara community and had gained new friendships at the same time.

A huge thank you to Andrew Marriott from MotiVate NZ and the Samoan AOG Church for hosting us. Thanks also to Yali Zhang and Sophie Catterall for attending as staff members to help look after the team.
