On 28 May 2022 over 100 daring skydivers took to the sky in ‘Drop for Youth’ in support of local charity Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough. Amongst those droppers were a number of MGC students pushing outside their comfort zone and skydiving from over 9,000 feet!

This week we share feedback on our Junior Curriculum.

Congratulations to all those who competed and to Kaituna who took out the top title. Six records were broken on the day by Katie Marsh, Kyla Thorstensen and Minnette Richards.

Our MGC Squash Teams excelled at the TSS Squash Tournament with MGC Team 1 winning the Girls Championship and our Team 2 placed 3rd.

Keeping our school and people safe is the responsibility of everybody at MGC, both students and staff.

This week we welcomed Mr Shalendra Singh who has joined our Maths team . Students are really pleased to be working with Mr Singh.

Over the last month the readers in the school have been discussing the books they have been reading with the Librarians to earn House points in our annual ‘House Reading Competition.’

It was all hands on deck to get more points in the House Basketball competition which kicked off in Week 2 this term.
