MGC students Ryleigh Gale and Isla Tilbury recently competed at the NZ Track and Field Athletics Championships at Newtown Park in Wellington.

The PPTA have advised the Board of their intention to hold a Paid Union Meeting on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd May 2024.

Twenty four Marlborough Girls' College students joined roughly 2,300 other secondary school students heading to Twizel to embark upon the 2024 Aon Maadi Cup (Secondary School National Rowing Championship).

On Monday 25th of March, another Pasifika student leadership summit took place in Nelson. This was run by the Nelson Marlborough West Coast Pasifika collective.

Two initiatives led by SPACPAC (sPacifically Pacific in Canterbury) and NMWC (Nelson Marlborough West Coast) collectives, running workshops to empower our Pasifika students in leadership.

A two day adventure for Sports Science and Outdoor Pursuits classes at Whites Bay (Pukatea).

We were very pleased to support Marlborough District Council in welcoming Ai Momata and Nagisa Sato at MGC and Keita Ishikawa and Kenshiro Takemura at MBC, along with their teacher Akiko Okuyama from Tendo, Japan.

The Cycling NZ Schools' South Island Mountain Bike Champs were held at Coronet Peak in Queenstown last week, where our MGC Year 13 student Maddy Sinclair competed in multiple races.

An unforgettable and fantastic learning experience for our students.
