With 340 students taking part in netball trials at the weekend, the 2022 season is looking great.

Hamilton Girls' High had eight different combinations of horse and rider compete at the Interschools Dressage competition on the 19th and 20th of February.

Please know that HGHS will ensure that all students involved in our Arts and Cultural curriculum, clubs and activities will have real and meaningful opportunities to exhibit and perform for their peers and their whānau in 2022.

On Friday 18th of February, Year 9 students had an opportunity to visit the Large Gym and speak to senior students promoting over 30 co-curricular Sports and Arts Clubs and activities offered by HGHS.

Student leaders have always been integral to the opportunities our school offers, and now we have a scheme to show our appreciation for them.

On February 18th of this year Sophie Hoebergen, Sophie Clark, Sophie Baillie and Tamieka MacDonald went, on behalf of HGHS, with a donation for Women’s Refuge.

Tuesday began the 5 week rotation for the Connections Programme with Year 9 and 13 House Groups getting amongst it!

The remnants of Cyclone Dovi are still seen on Hamilton city streets. Unfortunately, our kura was not left unscathed.

The Hepburn Building has had extensive remediation works undertaken on it since the start of the Term 3 holidays, and we are working towards completing the final works in March and early April.
