Oscar McGuire and Ben Clayton (Year 12) will represent New Zealand at the 2016 UN Youth event in Australia.

On Wednesday, 14th September eighteen Logan Park juniors took part in an adventure race called the Get 2 Go Challenge. They were joined by 22 other schools from the Otago/Southland region. 

A number of Logan Park teams competed in the 48 Hours Film Competition in September.

We had an amazing week of activities to celebrate New Zealand Chinese Language Week in September.

Our Amnesty International group organised a meeting with Green Party Co-leader, Metiria Turei, in September, on "Future Government Policy on Refugees and Asylum Seekers."

George Maclaurin and Jasper Holloway have been accepted into Victoria University's New Zealand School of Music, Jazz Performance Programme.

Caitlyn Kilner has completed her Year 13 Wood Technology project. Caitlyn explored the issue of children at play and focused on her two year old cousin Charlie as her main stakeholder. 

From September 1-3, the Senior A Girls Basketball team participated in the Secondary Schools South Island Premiership during Winter Tournament week. 

Congratulations to our drama students who were invited to be cast and crew for an Arts Festival World Premiere theatre production. The Dunedin Arts Festival ran from September 30 until October 9.

Year 12 PE students spent a day coaching younger students at North East Valley Primary School in September. 

Ola Szukiel is the Logan Park recipient for the Otago Secondary Schools Celebrate Art Award.

Ben Deaker, Year 13 is the Captain of the NZ Schools Diving Team.  

Year 13 Biology students studied Human Evolution during term three. Part of the study is understanding the different designs and techniques for making stone tools. 

Congratulations to our cross country runners who impressed in the Co-Ed Otago Cross Country Champs in September.

International students enjoyed a wonderful trip and some amazing scenery on their trip in August.

The Logan Park 1st XI boys Football team entered the Linwood Cup again. 

Year 9 students enjoyed the competition of the annual Reading Challenge.  Students compete with their classmates to read as many books as they can over a set amount of time.
