From the Rector
Have a safe and enjoyable festive season and all the best for the New Year.
Visit this articleDear Old Boys,
It has been an unusual year, but we have managed to overcome some challenges to make this another successful year.
For the Old Boys' Association, we have hosted a number of great events around the country, including the very successful Palmerston North Old Boys' Dinner as well as Old Boys' drinks in Hamilton, Rotorua, Napier & Tauranga.
We hosted our annual events such as the Old Boys' Sports Day, Golf Day and Business Alumni. With that in mind, a special congratulations to Barry Brown and Barry Clevely who were inducted into the 2020 Business Alumni. This was a great function celebrated with close friends, family and staff of PNBHS.
The Old Boys' Association is looking forward to hosting the Sportsman's Dinner again early next year, with our second group of retired athletes being inducted into the PNBHS Sports Hall of Fame. This event will be hosted on 26 February 2021, tickets will go on sale early next year.
We are very sorry to see Muz leave our Old Boys’ Office next year. Muz has been extremely valuable for the Old Boys and for the school for his technical ability and his contacts. He has have been a great addition to the Old Boys Office and we wish him all the best on a career move as the Marketing Executive for Steelfort. Please don’t be a stranger.
Our Old Boys’ blazers are still for sale, they are becoming more and more popular and we love seeing them pop up at Old Boys’ Events.
Finally, a big thank you to our Old Boys' for their ongoing support with helping current students achieve their goals. We are extremely grateful to have your support with fundraising events and initiatives such as the Good Buggers Club, White Jersey Club & Football Supporters Club. Your contributions help us achieve our goals of maintaining high standards and producing young men of outstanding character.
We hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Kind Regards,
The Old Boys Office
(Stu Leighton, Rachel Wenham and Muz Sujau)
