Linton Kindergarten
It means we are protectors of our environment, we value relationships and connections, we learn with and from each other, we are all empowered to learn and grow, and we are respectful and we care.
We are proud to be a Green-Gold Enviroschool. Sustainability is a part of our everyday kaupapa. Tamariki are empowered to be involved in planting, gardening, composting, harvesting, caring for animals and small creatures, looking after our worm farm and caring for our local ngahere.
Our care code supports tamariki to learn about caring for our planet, our friends, our toys, our gardens. living things in our environment and ourselves.
We provide a supportive environment for whānau, particularly during times of deployment when sole parenting can be a challenge for army families.
Ruahine Linton Kindergarten is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 2.30pm, and closed over the Christmas and New Year break, as well as 13th January, 30th May, 7th – 10th July and 24th October when teachers are engaged in professional development.
Please contact our Head Teacher Sherrie to arrange a visit – contact details below. We look forward to getting to know you and your child as we learn together.
