The last two weeks have seen Kōtare getting to know one another through a math lens, by using Statistics.

Our journey began with an intriguing question: 'What's the most popular reading folder colour in our class?' We then embarked on a data adventure, collecting and organising information, and creating colourful visualisations like tally charts, bar graphs, and pictographs. After careful analysis, we were able to make insightful observations and statements, confidently answering our investigative questions.

Since embarking on our statistical journey we have found out a lot about each other such as our favourite colour, most popular eye colour, most popular pet at home and our favourite desserts.

Through these activities, students gained valuable experience in understanding information and presenting their findings in a clear and concise manner.

We have had a lot of fun getting to know each other better in Kōtare!
