On Friday 21 October, our ākonga had a wonderful time attending the Tauranga Girls’ College Green Gala celebration.

Each year, Tauranga Girls’ College holds three awards evenings to celebrate the achievements of our ākonga in the arts, sports, and cultural spheres.

In Term 3 all seven New Zealand Universities and Toi Ohomai sent Future Student Advisers to support rangatahi plan their papers and courses for 2023.

Our International Department are looking for caring families who are interested in opening their homes to our new international students in 2023!

Underwater hockey is a sport and has a long history of being well represented by Tauranga Girls’ College, and most recently the senior team qualified for the National Secondary school finals to be held in Wellington 2022.

TGC’s Canoe Slalom team left Tauranga on the 31st of September to travel down to Kawerau for the annual New Zealand Canoe Slalom Secondary Schools Tournament.
