As the trees around us start to lose their leaves in preparation for some colder winter months, and the mornings are becoming a little crisper, we are all reminded that the year is ticking on by, and all the while our school continues to be a busy, vibrant place!

One of our areas of focus this year, is promoting the importance of what are being referred to by tertiary institutions and the business sector as “Employability Skills”. If the importance of these skills could also be promoted at home, this would help us to drive the message to our students / your daughters more effectively

The Whovians Club is a club within Timaru Girls' High School for girls who enjoy the Science Fiction programme Doctor Who. It was started in 2018 by Mr Richard Browne.
