Boys' High getting Bellyful

Once a month on a Saturday morning the CBHS Food Tech rooms are used by Bellyful Christchurch. Bellyful supports families with newborn babies and those young families struggling with illness without other support. We deliver, free of charge, around 200 meals to approximately 40 families every month.

CBHS Big Band

Southern Jam

Southern Youth Jam Jazz Festival is a 4 day long Secondary School Jazz Music Competition / Festival held each year in early Term 3, in Blenheim. The CBHS Jazz groups competed this year playing some of the toughest music they had encountered and they did exceptionally well. 2016 saw the biggest festival yet, with 17 different schools from around the South Island vying for Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards along with individual honours as well.

Down Under Track and Field Meet 2016

A highlight of 2016 for a group of 11 CBHS athletes was a 7 day trip to the Gold Coast to compete in the Down Under Meet. This event is held annually and CBHS has, in the past, sent teams to compete. The trip was planned for 2015 however with Miss Todd being unwell it was postponed . Sadly a hip replacement just a week out for Coach Todd meant that she was unable to join us as planned.
