As we approach the end of another year, it is with great joy that I reflect on the achievements and successes we've experienced at Georges River College Hurstville Campus. The journey of year has been nothing short of inspiring, and it is my pleasure to share some highlights with you in this edition of our newsletter.

The Homework Centre has continued to be a wonderful resource for our students throughout 2023.

Highly imaginative, creative and fun! Our Creative Workshop provided a safe collaborative space for students to explore their writing voice, experiment with new genres and challenge themselves to think and write ‘out of the box.’

Mathematics, the universal language of patterns and logic, underpins every facet of our world, from the intricate beauty of nature to the complex systems driving technological advancements.

What an electrifying year it's been for the Hurstville Campus Debaters, igniting passion, wit, and triumph with every riveting argument.

The final whistle has blown on this year’s sporting journey, so let’s celebrate the progress and victories of our year in sport.

Students in the Support Unit have focused on their academic, social, communication, and independent travel goals throughout the year.

Our PDHPE students have shown commendable dedication in theory classes, excelling in preparations for yearly examinations, while engaging enthusiastically in a variety of sports during practical lessons.

So, we come once again to the end of the year. All students should be proud of their accomplishments in Science throughout 2023.

The NSW Department of Education is introducing a revised Student Behaviour Policy and new Suspension and Expulsion Procedures, from Term 1, 2024.

Throughout Term 4, our Year 10 students have had the opportunity to have several guest presenters join them and support their future pathway plans through a range of presentations and workshops.

The Sustainability Project has been an exciting opportunity for 20 of our Year 10 students throughout Terms 2, 3 and 4 of 2023.

An extremely successful week of work experience was completed by our Year 10 cohort between 13th and 17th November.
