A reminder to arrange your Parent / Student / Teacher Conference Interviews

The Environment Committee has done three planting days in recent weeks with 150 new natives in on the North Field Tui Corridor as well as volunteering at Cashmere Stream planting and East Valley Reserve in Westmorland.

To put the experience into only a few words is impossible. From the moment we arrived until our departure a few days later, a very well-equipped camp with lots to do unfolded.

Level Two and Three Biology travelled to Wainui for the annual Biology camp, to investigate the quality of the streams in the surrounding area and the organisms present on the rocky shore.

Year 7 and 8 students have participated in a week-long EPro8 learning programme designed to help students develop engineering, problem solving and innov8ion innovation skills in a team environment.

Our Queer Straight Alliance (QSA) student-led group planned Horomaka’s first ever School Pride Week this year.

Tyler chose to attend Ara’s Dual Enrolment programme this year to gain extra cooking skills and knowledge at NCEA Level Three.

Congratulations to our Showquest Team.

There were three rounds of Spelling Bees this week. The Y7/8, Y9/10 and Senior competitions on the Poutama steps in Aonga Ake. Well done to the participants, leaders and the crowds who were supportive and vocal.
