Outstanding NCEA Results

Throughout 2023, we continued to invest time and effort into encouraging academic excellence, whilst also supporting students who needed additional support. Our results in 2023 continued to track higher than national averages and similar schools on the EQI Index. KingsWay Achievement rates across all year levels are between 24-29% higher than national rates, which is outstanding. Our University Entrance rate increased to 34.6% above National rates and was our highest since 2020. 

KingsWay students achieve a higher number of certificate endorsements overall compared to similar schools (on the EQI index) and the National average.

In 2023, there was a significant increase in Merit endorsement rates for Year 11. Year 12 and 13 Excellence endorsement rates have increased compared to 2022 which is extremely pleasing. We are grateful for the high-quality programmes we are able to offer and the professional capabilities of our outstanding teaching staff.
