Christian Community of Learning - Partnerships in Music

The introduction of the new Music Tuition programme and the Private Tuition programme has been a huge success. Over 120 new students are learning instruments this year in the new programme, which spans the KingsWay Middle and Senior schools. The sounds of trumpet, flute, drums, singing and many more instruments can be heard drifting through the music rooms, and students leave their lessons with happy, excited smiles, eager to practice their new skills.

Four new specialist staff members have joined the KingsWay teaching team, with impressive backgrounds in teaching and performance and a passion for worship. These include alumni student Stephen Trent, who is also tutoring the KingsWay Jazz Band. It is fantastic to see previous students giving back to the KingsWay community and sharing their passion developed here in school.

Many of the students in the music tuition programme have joined music groups such as the Chamber Orchestra, Choir, and Bands and are also sharing their gifts with their school and church communities. This is such a wonderful way to glorify God through developing His talents, uplifting each other, praising Him and serving others through music.
