Visit this articleThe annual Art Exhibition, Artful Wahine opens Thursday 18 August. The Exhibition is held at “The People’s Gallery” in the Historic Village. Artful Wahine will be open until 09 September. There is a selection of amazing artwork on display, a definite must-see cultural event.

She has been a Secondary school teacher for close to 30 years, teaching in co-educational, boys' and girls’ colleges. Over time in her teaching, she has seen a real disconnect happening with students not valuing who they are and trying to find external sources of fulfillment, instead of looking inside.
