Visit this articleLast week I attended the North Shore Principals Summit Day where we were inspired by the keynote speaker, Thomas Hoerr, PhD. Hoerr is currently Scholar Residence at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and teaches in the Educational Leadership program, prior to this he was the principal for 34 years at New City School in St. Louis, Missouri, and is now the Emeritus Head of School. Amongst his achievements, Hoerr has written five books – most recently, The Formative Five (2016).

Visit this articleOn Friday 16 August three dance crew's from Stanley Bay School took part in the Annual Peninsula Dance festival at Belmont Intermediate School. The junior crew performed a pirate ribbon dance and both the Y3 and 4 group and the Y5 and 6 group performed contemporary dances.

Visit this articleTo successfully and safely run the Stampede, we require volunteers to be involved to help out in various ways, such as marshals on the obstacles, baking for the bake stall, handing out spot prizes. Volunteering still allows you to run or watch your children and most roles only require a couple of hours of your time so you can enjoy the rest of the event with your family. Don’t worry if your child is running at the time you’ve volunteered, we’ll make sure you can step away to enjoy the run with them.
