It was fabulous to have the whole school in our Hall for the Strike percussion group performance held on Tuesday.

September has been a month of celebrating our Kapa Haka learning, with our Roopū Tuakana (Seniors and Middles) performing at the Edgar Center for Polyfest 2022, and our Roopū Teina (Juniors) performing on our Wakari School stage earlier this week.

11 keen children from Wakari headed out to Port Chalmers to take part in the Dunedin Primary and Intermediate Schools Triathlon on Wednesday.

We have had such a busy term in Room 12 and 13, so many fun activities and projects. The children have really been showing us their creativity and perserverance working on a variety of tasks.

Our Wakari children were treated to a wonderful (and very loud) percussion performance this week.

Over the second half of the term, Senior Syndicate Children have been enjoying the Friday Project.

We have put our new paper skills to the test by creating masks inspired by our focus country Sāmoa! Plus a tasty way to introduce instructional writing...

Friendship bracelets and orienteering were two of the options our senior syndicate tamariki could choose for Friday Project.

Queens Aerobics, is offering an exciting “have a go” sport aerobics workshop for primary through to intermediate aged students (year 3- year 8). This workshop is suitable for anyone, who wishes to give sport aerobics a go. The workshop will be a fun learning experience, tailored to suit the abilities and age of the students.
