Tūhono Competition

The Heaton Kapa Haka performed their way to success on Friday in Week 9 Term 3 at the kapa haka competition, Tūhono. We won two trophies for our waiata-ā-ringa (action song) and our haka. Even though we won two of the three categories, we sadly did not win the overall trophy.

Congratulations Georgia!

Georgia represented New Zealand at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. It was an amazing achievement by Georgia - Room 14, which required a lot of time, dedication and skill. Here is Georgia’s account of her trip. We would also like to congratulate Georgia on winning a St Andrew's College scholarship for 2019.
