Well done to all the students who entered the ICAS English & Mathematics external competition.

The Heaton Kapa Haka performed their way to success on Friday in Week 9 Term 3 at the kapa haka competition, Tūhono. We won two trophies for our waiata-ā-ringa (action song) and our haka. Even though we won two of the three categories, we sadly did not win the overall trophy.

Please help your child manage any overdue items they may have by ensuring they act promptly on any LRC Overdue Notices they receive.

Georgia represented New Zealand at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. It was an amazing achievement by Georgia - Room 14, which required a lot of time, dedication and skill. Here is Georgia’s account of her trip. We would also like to congratulate Georgia on winning a St Andrew's College scholarship for 2019.

In early October, Room 5 student Xavier competed at the NZ Nationals Gymnastics in Tauranga, placing 8th overall in Men's Artistic Gymnastics Level 5.

On Monday, 3 December we will be holding our annual Music Appreciation evening.

Our recent Arts Celebration concert allowed many students to display their many talents.

A number of Heaton students have been selected to have their work on display at Tūranga and the Arts Centre.
