This week a group of our Manutaki travelled to Nelson to take part in a day to collaborate with student leaders from other schools from Te Tau Ihu.

Our MGC Rugby team had its first game on Wednesday 17 May as the season kicks off for 2023.

On Monday 8 May some of our Year 10 students were offered the opportunity to complete a leadership day at Woodbourne Airbase. Millie and Arwen share their experience below.

We had our MGC Arts Week in week 3 with lots of fun workshops running right through the week including songwriting, graffiti art, DJ-ing and African dancing and drumming.

Wednsday 14 June is the annual Future of Work Conference, in addition to a full day of experiences for senior students, there is also a Careers Expo in the evening open to the community.

On Friday 5 May the school competition to select our 2023 Ngā Manu Kōrero representatives were held at Omaka Marae.
