Visit this articleHayley and Eliza went round the learning spaces showing how the Archimedes screw works. It was invented for transporting water from lower ground to higher ground for irrigation. This made it easier than carrying buckets full of water.
Visit this articleFour kids at Lyttelton School decided to raise money for the Kea Conservation Trust. For our genius time aka wheke time we constructed a special cabinet to display the food and called it "Kea Nibbles". We did baking and sold cakes to the kids of Lyttelton Primary. In total we raised $274.20!
