My name is Courtney Ross and I am the Cobham Sports Coordinator at Cobham Intermediate. This will be my seventh year working at Cobham and I am also a classroom teacher.
Sport is something I am incredibly passionate about; I have personal experience in a range of sporting codes and have played hockey at the elite level for the past decade. Since moving to Christchurch at the beginning of 2016, I have been privileged to play for the Canterbury Cats Women’s hockey team who won gold at the National Hockey League, as well as play for the Canterbury Barracudas Women’s team. I have been highly involved with coaching and have worked with a multitude of teams throughout the years.
At Cobham, we have an extensive range of sporting opportunities on offer and I encourage all students to make the most of these! Intermediate is a wonderful time to try out new sports and to get involved in as much as possible. I am looking forward to another exciting sporting year at Cobham and to meeting our new athletes at the school!
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
